The European Macrophage and Dendritic Cell Society (EMDS) is a scientific organization dedicated to advancing research on monocytes, macrophages, dendritic cells, and other myeloid cells in both humans and experimental animal models.

EMDS serves as a platform for interdisciplinary exchange, promoting studies in macrophage and dendritic cell biology across basic and clinical research. Through its activities, EMDS aims to accelerate the development and clinical application of new therapeutic strategies, enhance the training of young researchers, and establish student exchange programs, thereby contributing to the advancement of immunological sciences.
