Before joinging the lab, I earned my Master's degree in Biology with a specialization in immuno-oncology at Sorbonne University, where I cultivated a deep interest in tumor immunology and the pivotal role of immune cells in cancer progression. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD focused on investigating the involvement of macrophages in the hepatic metastasis of colorectal and pancreatic cancer, utilizing mouse models. My research aims to deepen our understanding of how macrophages interact with both immune and non-immune cells throughout the stages of metastatic progression, from the pre-metastatic niche to fully established metastases. Ultimately, I seek to uncover how signals from the tumor and its surrounding microenvironment influence macrophage identity over time.
