WHY I AM

Raphael HARTMANN

Master 2 student

I am a second-year master student in biology (IMaLIS) at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, passionate about immuno-oncology. I hold a bachelor's degree in Life Sciences from Paris VII Diderot University, and I have completed a diploma from ENS and an M1 in IMaLIS.

Through various internships, I have developed advanced skills in flow cytometry, cell culture, lentiviral vector construction, and single-cell sequencing techniques. My research has covered diverse projects, including identifying biomarkers for anti-PD1 immunotherapy response, studying tumor-associated macrophages, and investigating lentiviral vectors for oncogenic protein vaccines.

Currently, in Dr. Florent Ginhoux's lab, I am working on cerebral and kidney organoids. I use these advanced models to study macrophage functions in pediatric brain and kidney cancer.
