Mayra DOS-SANTOS-CARNEIRO

I am a Computational Biologist with a Ph.D. in Systems Biology from the University of Montreal, a Master's in Oncology from the Brazilian National Cancer Institute, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. My career has focused on cancer immunology, where I have developed expertise in both computational and experimental approaches.  In the lab I am part of a multidisciplinary team that uses cutting-edge spatial technologies, including Merscope, MACSima, Visium, Visium HD, and Xenium, to unravel the complexity of cellular interactions in immune responses. My contributions focus on integrating multimodal data to investigate the role of myeloid cells in solid tumors.
